  The Seagate has just opened for business this year and this was my first visit, but not my last. I was very happy with the friendly staff and my room was first class just has well as a 4 Star hotel. The food was very well presented, i thought the menu was a bit pricey but i was not disappointed with my evening meal. You will not regret staying at ... что говорят » the Seagate and like me will return again and again. - Everything! A good renewal of a once-failing harbour-side pub, and no longer a place to avoid. 1st class staff, excellent food, great rooms (especially #1 which has a HUGE bed!!) A great place that will only bring business to Appledore. The owners are really pleasant and the place is dog-friendly! Go and enjoy!

  The peace - I thought the hotel was very good value. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Unlike some of the previous reviewers I found the staff very helpful.

  A well appointed and run hotel, friendly and efficient. Our room was not the traditional hotel type room being individually furnished and decorated. The gardens were well laid out and maintained with some interesting plants and shrubs.   The hotel is in a gorgeous old building in a quiet neighberhood a bit away from the city. It has the hallmarks of past elegance but is showing its age. However, for cyclist weary from a long day on the road, we loved its lack of pretension. We had a huge room with a gorgeous view over the river. Depending on weather, seating was either outside on a patio or inside full glass, but both were overlooking the garden and the river. It was - The location within yards of the South West Coastal Path. Main bus route at the end of the road. Just a short 1/2 mile walk along the path opposite the hotel to the centre of Bideford. Breakfast was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cycle hire on the Tarka Trail in approx 1 mile away. The view from the bedroom and dining room over the fiver was superb.
