  This is a beautiful older home. The accommodations were excellent; warm and inviting and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in a formal dining room and was quite delicious; made to order. Our hosts were charming and very helpful. There is a beautiful garden area we would loved to have visited if not for the rain. The accommodation was better than expected which was a pleasant surprise. I had a big room with a separate big bathroom, it was lovely. But I felt cold when the cental heating went off during the night. However, I was able to change to a smaller room, much better. Definitely would recommend to others.

  Excellent location, large parking just outside of main entrance, well designed reception and huge rooms that could probably fit one more double bed in it. Tea/coffee tray in a room had plenty of coffee sachets and tea bags unlike other hotels that would only have one or two. Also, bed is huge, much bigger than we expected. We will definatley be going back, we only stayed for one night but will stay for longer next time. The room was very clean and comfortable and the restaurant was good value for money.

  Although we only stayed for one night and our actual time in the hotel was very brief, both my partner and myself were totally impressed with everything that we saw.   Convenient for us as we needed to be on the north side of Bristol, however as it's on a main road, it was quite noisy in the evening and morning. During the night it was ok. Room was clean and well equipped, and the owner was very nice. She even helped us out with storage for a couple of days when a friend left something behind! We were given a late check-out so we could have a ly-in - Fantastic breakfast, very friendly and attentive host. Spotless bedroom with en-suite facilities. A very pleasant stay and would highly recommend to others.
