Very close to the airport and so convenient - walking distance. I felt safe landing alone very late at night and saved on taxi/mini bus expenses. Breakfast in bed early in the morning on day of departure at no further expense. Fabulous cooked breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. - so close for gatwick airport wihout getting wet

Quite, Clean and breakfast was in cluded into the price. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was very reasonably priced, especially considering everything that was included. The location was great - only a 5-10 min drive to the airport, and very close to Horley train station. A driver picked me up from the station upon arrival, and the hotel ordered and paid for a taxi to take us to Gatwick airport. The bathroom was exceptionally clean

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They called for a taxi to pick us up for our plane the next day before we could ask. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. We saw many deer, rabbits and horses. You can hear the planes but this is a great place to be near the airport. - all good,very peaceful and calm even with planes flying overhea

Staff were very helpful, we had to cancel our table booking in restaurant, staff were very pleasant in the circumstances. Waterfall at entrance very impressive! - Very nice hotel, 2 restaurants, one pub, nice staff, avis rental in the lobby, a little shop where you can buy a few things. Very nice !

There was nothing we didn't like; except having to leave!! It was the 'launch pad' for our honeymoon, and it did not disappoint. As we were a family group of ten, (six adults and four children) they accommodated our needs very well. We stayed the evening before our flight out for a holiday, parking three cars for 17 days. the swans and geese outside in the little lake. the beautiful decor and warm friendly, cozy and luxurious feel to the place. also it has a regular bus service right at the entrance that takes you to the airport. great place!! if you're looking for somewhere near gatwick.. you wont get any better than the copthorne.. serriously :) - I stay regularly

The Effingham was beautiful and spacious -- large room overlooking beautiful grounds, like a country estate. The regular-size bus with luggage racks was excellent to transport us from the Gatwick Train Station and back to the Gatwick Airport next morning for only 2.50 pounds per person per trip. The food was beautifully presented and delicious.
