  Was a bit wary given the bad reviews, but this was a fantastic experience. Lovely old castle with modern facilities, friendly staff, peaceful location with large grounds, huge beds, superb breakfast, and the gym and pool facilities were top class. The bath, double shower and all extras ie massage oil, bath oil, candles made for a very relaxing evening. Breakfast was perfect, very filling and the staff met our every needs.   Thank you for the complimentary upgrade to Platinum. A little noisy this trip with bmx next door but they stopped at nine. Had stayed at many hotels with no lift so my mother in law was pleased to have one at your hotel. Had a nice meal with friends downstairs.
