The hotel is stunning and the garden bedroom incredibly spacious and furnished with great taste. The bathroom is impressive by its size. The food is incredibly good and the staff and services more than excellent. It's conveniently located near the airport. Only small deception with the swimming pool and its blurry water. Would definitely stay there again.

Amaya is a great little guesthouse with a friendly and helpful owner. We arrived late from the airport and had not been able to receive texts that the owner had sent, so he thought we weren't coming. He was still there to welcome us and show us around quickly despite the time. Rooms are basic but clean, as was the shared bathroom. About 20 minutes

The rooms were clean, spacious and well-ventilated, with all the basic amenties (including wi-fi) required for a comfortable stay. The owner, Mr.Manoj Fernando, is a friendly and courteous person. He also helped us plan our further itinerary to other locations in SL and made the requisite arrangements for us. We had a wonderful time exploring SL, thanks to him. All in all, I would strongly recommend Amaya Chalets for your stay in Negombo. You would be delighted beyond your expectations!

It was in a good location, close to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Overall it was a very relaxing holiday and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We would come back again!

Located on a nice beach. Presence of Life Guard made us comfortable to swim in the sea. Lovely villa with fantastic sea view. The suite with the private swimming pool was perfect and much better than we expected. Good helpful staff and great food. We plan to return to the cove and stay a few nights on our next visit to Sri Lanka. -

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived the swimming pool had maintenance and we were not allowed to swim next 2 days. I was a solo traveler and liked the fact that it felt very safe there and like a bit of a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of outside. We arrived here in the evening after a tiring journey so the comfy beds were really appreciated. The room had a patio from which you could see and hear the sea, it's a beautiful view. The food was excellent and good value and the staff are really friendly and very helpful. We were here for 5 days sunbathing, reading books and swimming in the pool. I'd definitely stay here again and use it as a base for going further afield.

Hotel J in Negombo is a great place to arrive or depart Sri Lanka from, the proximity to the airport is great. The pools very good and the beach at the right time of year would be great. A basic but comfortable hotel that served our purposes very well. -

The location was relatively easy to find which helped a lot since we touched down pretty late in the night.
Very nicely decorated and staffs were very friendly! We even had a nice patio where we had our supper (we bought our own food on the way there).
Wifi connection was good and mosquito nets provided.
Breakfast was quite a spread and the staffs even asked us to pack the fruits for the road. Although we didnt pack them, we liked very much that they were welcoming and generous!

It was my second time staying here and that says it all that I returned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine and all and all it is value for money. The location is close to shops and restaurants and it is also close to the beach not to mention only about twenty minutes from the airport. -
