  We Stayed at the Wallawwa prior to our departure on an early morning flight. The location is very convenient to the airport, so we stayed there on our last night to decrease our travel time and relax. What an amazing oasis it was, lush gardens, amazing rooms with a large bathroom with the biggest shower I've ever used. We didn't - The hotel is stunning and the garden bedroom incredibly spacious and furnished with great taste. The bathroom is impressive by its size. The food is incredibly good and the staff and services more than excellent. It's conveniently located near the airport. Only small deception with the swimming pool and its blurry water. Would definitely stay there again.

  Amaya is a great little guesthouse with a friendly and helpful owner. We arrived late from the airport and had not been able to receive texts that the owner had sent, so he thought we weren't coming. He was still there to welcome us and show us around quickly despite the time. Rooms are basic but clean, as was the shared bathroom. Lovely garden, free W - The rooms were clean, spacious and well-ventilated, with all the basic amenties (including wi-fi) required for a comfortable stay. The owner, Mr.Manoj Fernando, is a friendly and courteous person. He also helped us plan our further itinerary to other locations in SL and made the requisite arrangements for us. We had a wonderful time exploring SL, thanks to him. All in all, I would strongly recommend Amaya Chalets for your stay in Negombo. You would be delighted beyond your expectations!

  The staff were amazing. They went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. The food was also fabulous and beautifully presented. I had planned to eat at Lords on the second night but it was closed - I had no qualms at all about just heading back to the hotel and eating there. Nice little pool too, just not very big for swimming in. - It was in a good location, close to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Overall it was a very relaxing holiday and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We would come back again!

  Located on a nice beach. Presence of Life Guard made us comfortable to swim in the sea. Lovely villa with fantastic sea view. The suite with the private swimming pool was perfect and much better than we expected. Good helpful staff and great food.   We really enjoyed our stay in the Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived the swimming pool had maintenance and we were not allowed to swim next 2 days. After we complained that main reason for choosing this hotel was because of the swimming pool, they agreed with the workers that they had to finish same day.   I was a solo traveler and liked the fact that it felt very safe there and like a bit of a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of outside. There is an ayurvedic (a bit rustic, but no problem here) adjacent to the hotel which was great and there was a beach chair in front so if you want to get away from the other tourists it's possible to have your... was die leute sagen » own little space there. The front desk staff was very gracious and even sent out someone to get pain medication for me when I wasn't feeling well. - We arrived here in the evening after a tiring journey so the comfy beds were really appreciated. The room had a patio from which you could see and hear the sea, it's a beautiful view. The food was excellent and good value and the staff are really friendly and very helpful. We were here for 5 days sunbathing, reading books and swimming in the pool. I'd definitely stay here again and use it as a base for going further afield.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, more than happy to answer your questions and help you arrange taxi's etc. It is a 5min walk to the beach and various shops and restaurants.
