Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend this casa rural to anyone searching for a special place to stay.

We stayed in Cortijo La Loma during one week in July. Adrian, the owner, came to pick us up at the bus stop in Pitres. He's very friendly and keen to help out in any way he could. We loved the house, the breakfasts ,the birds feeding in the patio ,the kindness of the hosts.Parking was easy, on the street outside.Quiet, pleasant little town, which made a good base for visiting the coast and the mountains.We had an excellent stay - many thanks to our hosts.

My husband and I liked everything about the hostal alcoba, from the welcome we received to the décor, little touches such as fresh flowers, slippers and bathrobes in our room. The breakfast was very good with quality items, great choice and freshness. The one bedroom apartment is plenty spacious for two people for one week. the clothes washing machine was very convenient, and a folding rack is provided for air drying clothes. the building seems secure and the on site management is very professional. the building is a short walk to the Alhambra and the Cathedral.
