  The warm welcome by Hans and Miranda and their dog Sam was the start of an unforgettable weeks stay in Cortijo el Guarda. The accommodation is beautifully restored and elegantly decorated and still has modern amenities (good wifi, hot showers, etc). Even though the weather was a bit cold and wet for March, we had a wonderful time because of the warm and cosy municipal rooms, long - Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend this casa rural to anyone searching for a special place to stay.

Fabulous surroundings Peace and quiet Nothing too much trouble for Carmen & Antonio Breakfast was first class, unfortunately we didn't sample an evening meal as we were travelling most days and ate out before returning to the Cortijo.   Amelia, Juan and their daughter showed us wonderful hospitality, and we found it incredibly relaxing and enjoyable staying with them at Los Olivos. They were extremely lovley hosts and have a beautiful property to match.   We stayed in Cortijo La Loma during one week in July. Adrian, the owner, came to pick us up at the bus stop in Pitres. He's very friendly and keen to help out in any way he could. The cortijo is really beautiful, the house was clean and everything is very well looked after.The pool is really big and good to swim in.   Absolutely a top hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Its a place with a personal touch situated in a stunning setting. If you are looking for some rest but like to be near the top attractions of the Granada region, this is the place.
