  It was a home from home, which is great after staying in hotels. The facilities were excellent and the location was great, just five minutes from Puerto del Sol. The room itself was a good size and was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was not quite a full English but good by European standards. Location was super for direct transfers from the airport on the C1 train (2.50€) then less than 5 minutes walk. Location also excellent for Old City and you can catch a train direct to Atocha station (1.60€),

  Miguel the owner - couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, in fact all the staff without exception were friendly and welcoming. The interior design of the place is to my tastes. If you like late breakfasts, Artrip let you eat until noon... It is a 3 minute walk from the Lavapies Metro Station and the Carrefour market, and a 10 minute walk from Via del Prado and Atocha train Station.
