It was called Puerto del Alcala was newly refurbish and very clean.   I stayed with 2 friends in the flat for a long weekend. It is excellent value for money compared to a hotel. The flat is very well equipped and very cool and modern.The location is just about perfect and also very close to the tube. There is a cheap supermarket nearby. All in all a fab place to stay but book quickly as we have recommended it to all our friends! - Very spacious and comfortable. A warm welcome by Catalin who gave us a map and pointed out sights and reminded us to keep safe from pickpockets. The apartment wasn't ready so we left our bags and went for a walk. Fantastic central location!

There are 7 rooms, a well supplied kitchen and 2 or 3 bathrooms. We got towels on arrival, and the wifi works well. The place is run by a very friendly Spanish lady, who lives... что говорят » on site and who helped us out with some food the first day, and directions to the airport very early in the morning (before 6 am the metro does not run, but there are night buses leaving from Plaza de Cibele - Great location walking distance to attractions, metro and tourist info office. Friendly staff (wish we could have spoken more, but our Spanish is limited and their English is limited). Clean rooms, bath and kitchen facilities.

  The hostal is great: the location, the room, the price, everything. I would really recommend it. The only problem is the fact the there is no elevator access to the 4th floor (even though the rooms in such floor are the newest and, consequently, the best ones). Anyway, ou just have to climb the stairs from 3rd to 4th floor: no big deal. The breakfast was definitely acceptable (filling anyway) and included in the rate: 180€ per a double-bed room per two nights, in the heart of Madrid! Cool!!

  Perfect! We stayed in the studio apartment right in Plaza Puerto de Moros and everything about this location was fantastic! The rental price was also a great value for the location! The La Latina neighborhood has such a great vibe and buzz - tons of people - Spacious and clean apartment with a good and well-equipped kitchen. Grocery stores nearby.
