The biggest bonus of this little family-run place is its unrivalled location facing the Royal palace. Staff are very responsive and punctual and the place has the charm of a 18th century building.

The location is fantastic, you can walk outside, cross a small road and walk into a market! The metro is 5/10 minutes walk away and there is loads of places to eat. The staff are lovely, carried my bags for me and couldnt help you enough. The price is great for what you get! this was my 3rd stay in this hostel and I spoke to others staying in other hostels paying more and they wernt anywhere near as good!

It's not a hotel in conventional way. I like the ambience and all the elegant deco with a home style. Quite and lots of privacy in good location like this is really extrodinary.
Very friendly staff provided good help on the train schedule and wifi in short/late time.
We met the hostress when leaving at the door and she was a nice lady!
Unique experience and strongly recommend to those people interested in culture.

Location was great - just around the corner from Opera Metro station. Very, very clean and beds comfortable. We had a room at the back to no traffic noise at all. It's located in the absolute centre of Madrid on the Grand Via which is the main road in the city. It's a small hostel on the 5th floor of a large building. Room and bathroom where quite spacious and clean, there was not a lot of noice during the night and because the owner locks down the door of the hostel it's safe as well. Staff is very friendly
