  The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The hotel was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered lots of variety and was plentiful,healthy and great value. The fact that breakfast was served until 11am added a bit of luxury. The free access to the internet was a great bonus.   Ibis Budget was extremely great! Close to city center, 10 minutes of walking distance. Helpful staff, especially Xavi! Really cheap and highly recommended! - Perfect place to stay in Girona. Not far from the center, nice minimalistic design, clean room, included everything we needed and cheap. Highly recommend!

Carmen was a wonderful host - extremely welcoming, passionate about what she does and helpful when giving tips on where to eat/what to do in Girona. She is obviously a big foodie like us. One small thing is, while we really enjoyed the breakfast, we felt it was slightly overpriced for what you get, however, it was so impressive that many of the jams, yogurts etc Carmen had made herself. Room: Huge size for a studio double, clean, comfortable bed, sofa, table & chairs, cutlery etc, good size kitchen/fridge, big wardrobe, tv, free wifi, good lighting - Our loft was extremely well situated in the old town given we also had a car. Washing machine handy for longer stays as was the tiny kitchen. Overall impression is great value for money. Want something better then perhaps be you should be prepared to pay extra.
