It´s a purpose built hostel, not a converted apartment building. The
rooms are very spacious. The staff was exceedingly helpful and very nice
(I can speak spanish, so I can't vouch for their foreign language
skills). There was a small leak on the toilet flush (it can happen in

Superb location and very spacious room. Felt newly decorated and the
word 'clean' simply can't describe the sparkling perfection
of the rooms and common areas. The photos simply don't do justice to
the hotel/hostal - common areas are beautiful and the building
reminded us of a Moroccan riad.

Possibly the best accommodation we've had in years. An airy, quiet,
lovely apartment right in the middle of everything (yet shielded from

The apartment is in a perfect central location right next to tapas bars and the main square where we were lucky enough to watch some street flamenco performances. The apartment was well-equipped with a nice kitchenette. The lady who checked us in was very helpful even though we arrived outside the usual check-in hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 5 nights and would not hesitate to come back.

We had small children and we really appreciated the hotel service staff going to extra lengths to make sure the baby bed was cleaned and related amenities were looked after. parked for me and was outside waiting when we were checking out.In a
lovely area with lots of bars and restaurants close by and a 20 minute
walk to the Alhambra following the hotels directions,NOT Googles. As
the Alhambra overlooks the city, if you do not like walking then public
transport etc is advisable as it is quite hilly for the last half of

The location was near to Granada town center but very quiet location. Public parking was under the building. Police office is next door and it gave us some sense of security. - I thought the standard of the hotel was excellent and better than I had expected. The power shower in the room was amazing.

The car park is secure and has different sized spaces for the size of car. - We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. We were upgraded to asuite which was very spacious so we really appreciated it after such along drive. It was a bit difficult to find this hotel as it is tuckedaway, but well worth it. There are lots of bars and cafe's nearby andthe bus-stop for the famous 'Alambra' is a short walk away.

Friendly helpful staff, lovely room, well cared for ancient building and gardens, great restaurant, buffet breakfast one of the best I've had.
We went in the off season - Dec 2013 so had substantial discounts.
We'll go back again at this time of year.
The staff also made sure we got to the Alhambra on time - the palace has strict entry times. We would have missed it without the front-desk staff organising the visit for us.
