  At Candlewood Lodge we were provided with a beautifully furnished and clean room called Spray. Although the room did not offer a view of the Knysna Lagoon, it provided every mod con we could have wished for. The owners, Joyce and Graham, are extremely friendly, helpful and informative regarding the town's facilities and restaurants. The breakfasts are very adequate indeed and are serve - We loved the fantastic views over the bay from our room. The guest house is lovingly cared for by the owners Joyce and Graham. It is spotless. Graham arranged a superb golf day for us at Perzula at special discounted rates. We stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave.   I was totally blown away by the personal attention shown by Maggie in making sure my stay was hassle free and enjoyable. The accommodation, facilities and location of the unit was incredible and in saying that it is not often the case where what is shown on a website does no justice to what is actually experienced. We booked Vrede and arrived only hours later. We couldn't have picked a better place! The appartment is, as the name says, Deluxe, the view is spectacular and Maggie and her team are nothing but very very kind, helpfull and understanding. Despite our circumstances, Vrede 62 made the best of our week. Thanks again Maggie & William!

  The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The room was well appointed and the fire was most welcome after our spa treatment. - Everything was wonderful! Location, hospitality and accommodations were exactly right for us.We would return in a heartbeat!
