The view from the pool deck was just fabulous. Sugarbird was cosy but I would imagine nice in the heat of summer too. The fire place was lovely as was the open communal area. I loved the inner courtyard and interior design of the refurbished house, very nicely done. Beautiful scenery, great location and nice and quiet. -

I travelled with my 80-something mom-in-law and we loved every moment in the graceful surroundings. This hotel has been transformed by the current owners and it is outstanding value for money. -

comfortable room, lovely courtyard for breakfasts, drinks or just to sit
and enjoy. Our room was spacious with small balcony overlooking the pool
which was very welcome on hot days.

Private Villa with a beautiful view from the lounge as well as the bedroom. Huge comfortable bed and extremely spacious. The garden and surroundings are beautiful. No buffet breakfast as it was off peak but the choices given to us were great. Very quiet location in the mountains. -

The chalet offered privacy. The atmosphere was tranquil. The afternoon game drive was fun. The dinner and breakfast was enjoyable and tasty. A good variety of food was offered. The ambience in the restaurant was very relaxed and the service was excellent. -

Special mention to Daphne and Mandla whom really went out of their way to make our stay extra special. I loved the room beyond everything and felt really cosy. The staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly, the hotel is almost a B&B but with private facilities, easy to walk to most in town attractions, excellent breakfast very good and convenient before the start to the day, good connection to WIFI. The location is wonderful, and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect. The service is great - Our water was not very hot the first night (probably something i was not doing correctly) and they fixed it while we were out having breakfast. The spa right next door is a bonus and a must visit if you're having a relaxing weekend. -
