  The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

I liked the relaxed ambience ~ it was like travelling back to my younger pre-digital era days ~ I could see Hemingway deciding to write a novel there and enjoying it ~ that said, I appreciated the free wifi facility.   The location cannot be beaten, just a few meters away from the ocean in a very safe area. And yet, it's easy to walk into town through Green Point Park. The staff are excellent. A broken TV was replaced within 15 minutes. The room is lovely, spacious and comfortable. Wifi is working throughout the premises. Very helpful and attended to my requests immediately. Yes there is contruction next door but it really didnt hassle me.
