  Having stayed at the Family Inn Saiko for almost a week I have to say that the whole experience has been a truly pleasant one! In fact, I would go even so far as saying that it was one of the most pleasant experiences in a few years worth of travelling. The room was VERY clean and comfortable and it was a great Japanese cultural experience. It was conveniently located close to 3 subway stops, including the Ikebukuro station. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and if I am ever in Tokyo again, I will be staying here again! I have already recommended the Family Inn Saiko to friends!

  Perfect location for Disneyland. You can book bus from the hotel and it takes 30 mins. Also transport link is within walking distance if you wanna go to central Tokyo although it takes a while. There are Aqua City and Decks nearby so shopping is not a problem and plenty of restaurants if you don't wanna travel too far out.   I've been staying at ryokan Sansuiso 2-3 times a year for the past 15 years. The value for the price is great. Don't expect the Ritz here, this is a small traditional style Japanese inn, the tatami mat rooms are small with fouton for sleeping. In the past few years they have upgraded to non-pay, flat screen TV's and free WiFi. These are very clea - Awesome in general. The staff were consistently thoughtful and happy, and jumped through hoops for us whenever we had even the smallest questions. Of course, the location is also brilliant, right on the Yamanote train line (Gotanda Station), and has a grocery store and many restaurants nearby.   The hotel is placed right in front of the Tokyo tower, in the Shiba park, and it's right next the Zojo-ji temple. You can access within 5 minutes the E and I lines of the subway and get quickly to roppongi, ginza, and anywhere you need. The service is excellent - especially the staff working at conciergerie. I suggest a corner room - not he cheapest but definitively worth the experience. Th - I stayed for 3 nights in a corner double room on the 27th floor. My rood did not have a view of Tokyo Tower, but it was not a big issue for me at all as it had a view of the Rainbow Bridge. The staff is of course very friendly courteous. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. I have no opinion as to the food as I had no chance to eat at any of those restaurants in the hotel. The bakery and convenient store on the lobby floor somewhat had a variety on the menu.
