Very nice pick for a night over between a shinkansen from Nagoya and flight back home. Proximity to Shinjuku station is a great plus, orange building is easy to spot from afar, neighborhood is very clean and safe (as is the rest of Tokyo, for that matter!).
I was traveling with a toddler, she loved the room, it had just enough things to make exploring fun while being completely childproof at the same time.

- Good location. The hotel is near Harajuku station, Omotesando and Meiji Shrine. Despite of not be located in the major street there´s a sign pointing the hotel direction that makes very easy to find it.

I just loved this hotel. It was the first hotel we stayed in Japan. The room was small but lovely! Our bathroom was great and everything was very clean- as everything is in Japan. Like all the hotels we stayed at in Japan, the Prince Sakura Hotel had exceptional service. What made this hotel stand out was the size of our room. The hotel is clean , safe, nice view, comfort with very helpful staff. They have tried their best to help us about our problems 24 hr. This is a luxury hotel , easy to access and relaxing . After a long day of traveling around , you can relax in a jaguzzi with warm and flower bath salt. The staff professionally help me ship parcels to the next hotel in Osaka. The shuttle bus from Shinagawa station is also helpful. This hotel is much better than excellent.

I think this little gem within Akiba is something I wish I had known about in March , when I first came to Tokyo , I stayed at a different location , whilst also very good , the APA Akihabara has the best staff I have encountered , friendly , and above all , the most helpful I have encountered . I am returning to Tokyo in September , and would not think of another location . The staff only compliments the Hotel itself as a most enjoyable stay . It was a convenient location - direct line to Shibuya and easy to get many places. It was also a bit of a quieter area which was nice. The room was small but comfortable and had everything you need - including a little balcony with a great view of the river and the Skytree. I stayed for 3 nights in a corner double room on the 27th floor. My rood did not have a view of Tokyo Tower, but it was not a big issue for me at all as it had a view of the Rainbow Bridge.
The staff is of course very friendly courteous.
The room was fairly spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. I have no opinion as to the food as I had no chance to eat at any of those restaurants in the hotel. The bakery and convenient store on the lobby floor somewhat had a variety on the menu.
