We booked a room for triple occupancy. The room 1869 was really huge for Japan standard. We had a nice view too. Room was spotlessly clean and location was really central. Lots of cafe, restaurants and convinience stores nearby. Staff was really helpful. Convenient as free shuttle to Disneyland was provided and tours can be booked in the lobby.

It was the cheap option for a central location to Shinjuku. Observation level of govt building is across the street. You can walk directly to Shin via a subway or take the street. It has many eating options within the hotel should you wish to stay in house. Rooms are small and typical Tokyo style but do the job. Foreigners info desk were really helpful in all matters.

Overall nice hotel. But a few points stood out. The Japanese staff were unfailingly polite and obliging. But my check-in was marred by a short Caucasian male concierge staff who cut the queue with another customer without apology. While the local staff were polite they did not hand over enough information such that I repeated myself three times about my Michel Troisgros booking. Access to pool and gym should not be restricted to Passport members but all guests!

Great lobby design, luxurious especially with coffee shop layout. Rooms are nice, except that beds are generally small. Location is perfect. Across is a Denny's and Starbucks. 5 minutes walk is a subway station. It also offers free shuttle to Shinjuku Station. Area is very peaceful. Cherry blossom right across the hotel.

This hotel is the second best I have ever stayed at, only being surpassed by the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The staff were fantastic, I have never been served by more attentive staff at any hotel. The room was fabulous, we were given one on the top floor with an awesome view, the amenities in the room, everything was spotless and clean. The Hotel Okura is well maintained and a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The Staff is super friendly and courteous.
Bed was comfortable, the bathroom, small but clean and with everything you might need. Very clean in general. Decoration of the Hotel is a minimalistic Japanese style.
