The hotel is actually quite "self-service" but no worries,
there is a staff that will assist you when you check in. She is really
friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and comfort, equipped with
microwave, gas stove and a pc. I love the bathroom so much, there's
even a small tv inside the bathroom where you can watch tv while you
enjoying your bath. There is a heater and dryer air system in the
bathroom as well. It's a very good facility especially during winter

The concierge was amazing! The purpose of my vacation was to see the
temples, see the Gion district, and dress up like a Geisha. She
helped me to plan everything with the buses, trains, taxis, etc. She
had maps for me in English that were extremely helpful. The hotel is
centrally located near the main attractions of Kyoto making it ideal
for my vacation.

The Staff were exceedingly good showing genuine attentive detail. There were several good to excellent English speakers at the hotel. Great sleep in a double bed. Very good Free Wi Fi throughout the hotelNice restaurant and reception area and garden. The location is excellent, just 5+ mins walk from the main Kyoto station. Price is reasonable for the service and facilities. Rooms are clean and fully equipped. Staff served tea to us every day when we came back to the ryokan. They have a free cultural night event every night run by volunteer staff. They are so friendly and it was really nice learning about their lives in Kyoto, as well as pick up some origami/calligraphy writing. Highly recommended!
