  Loved the atmosphere and that people were friendly and easy. Also loved that the staff had a good recommendation for a restaurant when we wanted a kind of food that was not represented on the hotel restaurant list. Staff was helpful.   Wonderful hotel. Tricky to find and a steep ascent, but we were then rewarded with a superb view over the bay. Staff were attentive and yet unobtrusive. Decor was tasteful and the room spotless. W/c and wet room were separate. Multi-course dinner and breakfast taken in our own cubicle and included in the price.   Mount Fuji view from the ryokan was simply stunning! The weather was good when we checked in n we have the most amazing view from the room. We also managed to take some great photos of the mountain from the lakeside in front of the hotel.
