A truly Japanese experience. We hand a japanese style room, with a picture postcard view of the lake and mount fuji in the distance. Upon arrival, we were served tea in our room. The large room was partitioned with a sliding japanese screen doors, dividing the bedroom and seating areas. We opted for the shared bathroom (there is a toilet in the ro

spacious room with own terrace and bar makes me more relaxing while looking to the lake in front of me. during afternoon before dinner , walking in lake for about 5 mins walk from hotel is very convenient.and we try the japanese style room! was fantastic! should really try to first time in japan.they have also shuttle bus which u can ask to pick u up in nearest station.thier english is pretty understable so probably it will be good enough to zero percent japanese langauage.lots of near japanese

Lovely place to stay to experience a traditional Japanese style hotel. Fantastic views of the lake from our room and of Mount Fuji from the roof garden. "maiyumi" was so helpful during our stay, being able to
introduce the facilities and foods in simple English. The dinner and
breakfast are excellent, location is good and they can arrange free
transport between train station and hotel. Highly recommend this hotel

Excellent location - you can see it from the train station. Staff can speak English. They have a locked luggage storage room and kept our luggage for us while we climbed Fuji overnight (we had checked out the previous morning). They offer breakfast of toast with jam, juice, salad and unlimited tea and coffee for 180y. There is also a restaurant for dinner. Rooms were large with fridge, TV, large cupboard space and hangers.
