  very friendly staff; very modern and comfortable; clean; the entering into the hotel without reception by using mail or message instructions was a bit curious at the beginning but turned out very easy and useful afterwards - that just should be pointed out at the hotel description to be prepaired... - Alles!!!   Welcome was very friendly as well as the owners were. If there were any problem, I could ask for its correction, and it would be done as soon as possible. Very friendly atmosphere not far from Trieste's main train station; moreover, local transport is easily accessible from the hotel. - Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful.   First,location and value for the money were the best. Then,when we arrived,the warm welcome from the owner,who was waiting for us for 2 hour (due some traffic problems) ,and his attention for all details,from the parking place for our car just in front,to help with luggage to the second floor,city map and restaurant and city sights recommendation,... что говорят » all was perfect. Very nice structure,an old house,from 1860,well designed,with all you need for a short or long stay,5 minute(on the stairs) from the - Unique - wonderful surprize to open the door at the top of 4 flights of stairs of a very old building to lovely rooms with antique furniture , breakfast in a sunfilled room with antique dishes and the most courteous host, David. Highly recommended as long as you are able to climb a lot of stairs.

  Proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Arrived early without notice but she accommodated us without complaint - greatly appreciated. Comfortable bed. It was such an enjoyable experience! - Lovely room in private residence with beautiful breakfast room. Rooms overlook both the waterfront, 300 meters from the embarkation of our cruise boat, and a quiet piazza with a statue of Maximillian. Apartment was Viennese in character, with large rooms and beautifully inlaid floors. The staff was warm and helpful. We definitely recommend this accommodation.
