  First,location and value for the money were the best. Then,when we arrived,the warm welcome from the owner,who was waiting for us for 2 hour (due some traffic problems) ,and his attention for all details,from the parking place for our car just in front,to help with luggage to the second floor,city map and restaurant and city sights recommendation,... что говорят » all was perfect. Very nice structure,an old house,from 1860,well designed,with all you need for a short or long stay,5 minute(on the stairs) from the - Unique - wonderful surprize to open the door at the top of 4 flights of stairs of a very old building to lovely rooms with antique furniture , breakfast in a sunfilled room with antique dishes and the most courteous host, David. Highly recommended as long as you are able to climb a lot of stairs.

Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

  Hotel Victoria turned out to be a true 4-star hotel in a convenient location around the center of Trieste. The staff was most professional and attentive, not to mention fully fluent in English. The breakfast, although served in a buffet style, was lavish and tasteful like I never experienced at any other hotel. A major plus. Most enjoyable with adequate supplemental - We were travelling for our wedding anniversary and on arrival learned we had been upgraded to a suite - fantastic!! The staff were extremely helpful, directing us to parking (with a special hotel rate), recommending and booking a restaurant for our anniversary dinner (which was excellent) and even chilling a bottle of wine we'd brought with us. The room was amazing, clean and luxurious, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.

  The apartments are very centrally located (though suggest you did what we did and have a google map printed in advance with precise location). Alesandra could not have been more welcoming. She was waiting for us on arrival. She helped us with a place to park nearby and also with suggested a nearby restaurant which was great. This is her own business; the pride she takes in running it and her personal touch makes it a lovely pla - Manager Aessandra was warm, friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Willingly assisted us when we needed a doctor and hospital, she volunteered to act as interpreter, we couldn't have worked the Italian medical system without her. Thank you so much Aessandra. Unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked with extras. Close to everything Trieste has to offer.

  Our host Stefano was wonderful. We arrived earlier than expected, but he came to meet us, prepared an espresso for us, gave us a map of Trieste, and described a variety of activities and points of interest within walking distance, or bus route. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city center--the bus station and train station--with the bus stop being 100 yards away from the hotel.
