  I did Rome in a quick 3 days 2 nights. The host was awesome. The Italian restaurant he recommended, I had it for dinner 2 nights in a row. Cheap, good-service and nice food.   The staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms are sparse but we didnot spend our time there, we spent most of our time walking about Rome.However, the room was very clean and neat and the breakfast buffet wasvery nice. While they are far from most of the sites, they are veryclose to the metro so getting around is quite easy. For the price we couldn't beat this for our short stay to Rome. The staff was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming, beds were comfortable, rooms totally adequate, never had to wait for the shower, coffee at breakfast was great (although fresh pastry would've been nicer than packaged). Tram is right outside on main road (which was loud - bring earplugs) For us ,the inconveniences were balanced by the price. We spent that money on good wine and delicious food instead of a ro
