  I did Rome in a quick 3 days 2 nights. The host was awesome. The Italian restaurant he recommended, I had it for dinner 2 nights in a row. Cheap, good-service and nice food. For the price we couldn't beat this for our short stay to Rome. The staff was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming, beds were comfortable, rooms totally adequate, never had to wait for the shower, coffee at breakfast was great (although fresh pastry would've been nicer than packaged).
