  We were delighted to spend three nights at this small hotel. We were treated as welcome house guests. Both Clara and Samuela were charming and did everything to make our stay comfortable. Clara and Sam - Within 30 minutes of arriving, we were given breakfast and coffee and were taken thoroughly through all that Florence can offer. Not only did they take us through it, they organised the tours for us. Breakfast was fantastic, especially in the variety and quality of the foods. I had not been there for a decade or more and this time found it had upgraded itself to a 'hotel,' level 3 in the Italian style of rating. I did not notice any appreciable difference with its earlier facilities. There were many cafés and restaurants right at the corner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room( and everything) was very clean and comfortable. We loved the Italian decor of the hotel, but the furniture of the rooms was really essential.

I had free use of the internet.It was great to have the freedom to hold bags at counter for a few hours after checkout to see more sites and the ability to use the shower when i came back to collect my luggage. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly. You are also very close to everything. The double-glazed windows helped to shut out the noise from outside. The price of the room was very reasonable considering that the hotel is centrally located. I would certainly recommend this Hotel to anyone considering visiting Florence.
