The Staff were really friendly and they try to do anything to make you feel like you were at home. The Food at the restaurant was lovely and the environment was relaxing. We are extremely happy with the room quality and We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everybody who wishes stay in it.

I liked the concierge, the man really new what info to give us and was very understandable. I also liked the restaruant and bar, the people working the nights that I dined and wined there were extremely friendly on never left me bored out of my mind. Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. Breakfast was a mixture of a small buffet as well as a la carte meals and was excellent. Staff were very friendly and provided some excellent restaurant recommndations. The reception area was bright and spacious there was a lovely bar area with comfy sofa's-great for relaxing and having a few drinks. The room was lovely and had a nice bathroom with a good shower - fabulous breakfast, very good quality food.ease of access to the car park, no messing with tickets, validation, charges etc.

It was a great place for us to stay. It was cold and rainy when we came in and the first thing that was offered was a cup of tea and to sit by the fireplace. We knew we were at the right place. The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.

We were first time in Dublin and really loved this hotel! Easy to find (bus 14,15a,b,c, 83 etc stops near) and it's overall really cosy hotel! Just 20-30min walk from downtown, really nice pubs and food places alongside road! We stayed there 3 nights.
Staff was friendly and helpful and Irish Breakfeast (eggs, bacon, toast etc) was served to tables

Uppercross House Hotel was perfect, although i stayed only one night. They will provide you with everything you might expect from a hotel of this price (and even more): Friendly staff, 24h reception, very tasty breakfast included with plenty of choices to go with, daily newspaper, room was very comfortable, lots of space in the bathroom, taxi station just across the street, not noisy at all. Took me about 15-20 minutes walking to the center of Dublin. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

There's food places everywhere. The room was very clean. We had a flat screne tv in the livingroom...would have been nice to have one in the bedroom.
