  This hotel was incredible. I stayed in the Oscar Wilde suite. The attention to detail was beyond compare. This establishment thought of everything, right down to the chocolates. Very small,boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. It was quiet, even though it was in the heart of the Temple Bar area. Could not ask for a better location. I do have one request please, a bat - personnalized service - convenience of location . large room . I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

  I found Egans to be the best possible combination of a 'chain' hotel and a private guest house. It was comfortable - especially the communal lounge area - clean, and nicely decorated, with very helpful staff. My room had everything I needed and was very good value for my 30 euros. It was a full size bed, and 3 twin beds crammed together in a very small room. We only stayed one night here, so being crammed together one night was no big deal. We had our own bathroom plus there was a public bathroom right outside of our door. The lady at the desk was very helpful and informative. She told us of our various options of getting into the city, which is a good distance away.
