Arrived after a long journey was made immediately welcome by door man and reception -reallly could not have been more helpful. Was upgraded on check in to a superb suite with terrace overlooking city and river -just superb . Real quality Hotel with some really nice touches-breakfast freshly cooked and superb. My 3 year old son loved the trams! It let us sleep for an extra hour inthe morning while he watched the trams out our corner window. It was notnoisy either, so that was great! Close enough to the city, but quiet. Weliked it a lot! - Opportunity to stay extra half day in same room

I liked the concierge, the man really new what info to give us and was very understandable. I also liked the restaruant and bar, the people working the nights that I dined and wined there were extremely friendly on never left me bored out of my mind. Great location only a couple of kms from dublin's city centre yet set in a peaceful and quiet street in a lovely old building overlooking a garden out the back. Rooms were small yet cosy and very comfortable. Wifi worked in the rooms fine and free parking was very convenient. I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. It waslocated only 5 minutes from the train station which was then only a 10minute drive into the city. It was a 5 minute walk to 2 excellentrestaurants

Excellant and helpful staff. Rooms are very comfortable. They even had new glossy magazines to read which was brilliant. Lovely warm atmosphere in hotel. Would reccomend. - Everything it was clean staff were friendly, all foreign, very friendly and helpful will be back. i love dublin cant wait to go back.

The food, service and atmosphere was outrstanding. I arrived for the Dublin Marathon and was very impressed with the Ballsbridge Hotel. I was able to relax for a couple of days before the race on Monday 29th October, and everything was so accessible from registration at RDS, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and the Marathon start, only 10 mins walk.
