Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! The reception area was bright and spacious there was a lovely bar area with comfy sofa's-great for relaxing and having a few drinks. The room was lovely and had a nice bathroom with a good shower - fabulous breakfast, very good quality food.ease of access to the car park, no messing with tickets, validation, charges etc.

My 3 year old son loved the trams! It let us sleep for an extra hour inthe morning while he watched the trams out our corner window. It was notnoisy either, so that was great! Close enough to the city, but quiet. Weliked it a lot! - Opportunity to stay extra half day in same room

If we were going back to dublin we would definetely stay again - The room was fantastic with an excellent power shower. Swimming pool, saunas and jacuzzi were brilliant. I would definately stay at this hotel again. Close enough to have a flat 10 minute walk to temple bar area or short bus ride (Stop is outside the hotel) but just far enough away to not be disturbed at night. Very quiet, good breakfast.

Staff were very accomodating,as two young people most hotels assume we will be noisey,they did their very best to treat us equally and were very polite and proffesional at all times,there was a bit of a mix up with our booking when we arrived they did not have our booking on the computer but the gent at the reception was most helpful and fixed us a room immedietly even giving us the best room in the hotel for the same price it was relaxed and we felt very welcome i would definatley stay here ag
