The rooms were bright and clean and the hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite because it was our wedding. They had some chocolate strawberries waiting for us in the room. The Radisson Blu 1919 is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik -- couldn't ask for a better location. Just a block away from the pedestrian area, and from the bus stop. The staff were always helpful and friendly in every way possible. Always. The rooms were very clean, with ample space. The breakfast buffet was really outstanding -- plenty of wonderful variety from which to choose. We felt very welcomed at all times here. That means a lot to us as travelers. Nice home-feeling place to stay with a family.
The lady of the house was extremely helpful and kind: she ordered us a tour plus a taxi to the airport since we wanted to save a bit time due to our early morning flight.
WI-Fi was nice; with our gadgets we could plan the next day in Reykjavik. -

Hotel has been re-done recently and has an impressive lobby (with free internet pc's available). The rooms are decorated very well and there is a good information book in your room. The duvets are divine!! Staff are very friendly and efficient in booking the flybus back to airport - Very positive staff. It's a new hotel with a great reception area

I've been once before and choosing a Hotel for my wife's 60th birthday remembered Hotel Holt for its atmosphere, its wonderful collection of paintings and its excellent food. Of course it is also within walking distance of everywhere you want to go. The hotel fully lived up to my recollections and went down very well with my artistic wife.

Everything! The apartment was very spacious for a group of three friends
and it was tastefully decorated. We had more than the facilities that we
needed as our homebase in Iceland. We were happy to find a washing
machine in our apartment. The location is very good because it's at
the street towards the main commercial area of Laugavegur. Parking was
also available but on a first come first served basis. It made our trip
to Iceland comfortable.

The apartments were spacious by European standards and they were ideally
located near City Center. They were cleaned daily and everything worked
reasonably well. The internet connection was a bit shaky at times and

We rented the studio apartment for a week. We were making a first visit to the University. Innkeeper Thorri was very helpful and kind. As we walked around Reykjavik, we never saw a better value for this level of amenities and character. We love staying in historic and cultured homes like Gastafell. The 1 bedroom apartment was fully equipped and in a wonderful quiet location but literally minutes from everything. Breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable bed.. - Well situated within a 10 minute walk of the main shopping/drinking/eating district of the city. There is also a store 2 minutes from the hotel if you're ever in need of junk food, a dvd or some drinks to take back to your room. Staff are plesent and helpful.
