Clean, neat and quiet apartments. Owners are very hospitable and try to make your stay perfect. Mikri Vigla is a quiet resort right next to the beach. It is the perfect 'getaway destination'. We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach). It was a pleasure to stay at Mare Monte. They picked us up from the ferry, although it was an hour delayed. Very nice introduction to the hotel and the area. The public bus has it's final stop at the hotel in front of Mare Monte. (Goes every 15-30 minutes) Very nice breakfast brought straight to the room (5EUR). -

Friendly staff- met us and took us back to the ferry port.
The room was spacious and had a good balcony. Efficient refrigerator and shower.
Very peaceful, quiet location- close to the best beaches in Naxos.

The hotel Plaka is near the camping Plaka, it shares the reception, bar- restaurant, supermarket and the swimmingpool. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The beds were really confortable. Breakfast was good but was the same things each day, no variety.
The place is 5 minutes walking to the beach. Fantastic place!!

very reasonably priced. The beach is only 30 metres away and is a white
sandy, clean dream with clear deep blue water lapping onto the shore.
The hotel has its own sunbeds for guests to use which was most
appreciated. You need a taxi to get there but it is worth the 20 euros
as it is far away from the masses and incredibly peaceful for somewhere
so beautiful.

Our stay was very good. The room was nice and well equipped. The bathroom was small but with a very good shower with a curtain (not always we found it in Greece) and window with a very useful mosquito net (2 out of 3 windows had mosquito nets).

Away from the tourist places you discover Naxos from the original and quiet side. The evenings on the terrace with their bougainvilleas you can relax the soul.
Take the advantage of the opportunity to rent a scooter or quad in the house because the public bus only runs 5 times a day. A small supermarket and 2 typical restaurants and the sea are 400m from the house.
Beautiful clean beach with fantastic view of Paros during the sunset.
