  The views are superb and the welcome is exceptional. For us it is simply the best. I could go on praising the beach, the local tavernas, the towns and the island in general but better to let people find out for themselves.

  It was a pleasure to stay at Mare Monte. They picked us up from the ferry, although it was an hour delayed. Very nice introduction to the hotel and the area. The public bus has it's final stop at the hotel in front of Mare Monte. (Goes every 15-30 minutes) Very nice breakfast brought straight to the room (5EUR). - Extremly friendly family. All rooms have Seaview and you can watch the sundown from your balcony. We will come back next year.

We stayed for 5 nights in one of the ground floor studios and extended our stay for further 4 nights in the upper studio.   This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

  The location was perfect, the owner Mario could not be faulted for the welcome he gave us. Information about area and where to find taverns supermarkets etc. He even supplied chairs to take to the beach. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return.

  The location is perfect, just 200 m from a sandy beach in a very quiet place.The apartments are very nice, clean and comfortable. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts served on our balcony. We'll highly recommend this hotel to those who is looking for a warm family atmosphere. Then it is very close to the beach which is marvelous. It is also close to several tavernas with good food and nice people. It is close to a small but very useful supermarket. And it is close to public transportation (bus) if you want to go to Chora (Naxos city). The rooms are carefully designed and clean. It is peaceful.

  The location of the hotel is about 1,5 km behind the the main beach area with all the beach coffee houses, bars and beach supermarkets. It is about 100 m from the beach. It has several rooms. Looks like 4 of them (2 lower and 2 upper floor) with sea view. We had one of the lower floor with our own entry. The breakfast (in case you order) was serve... что говорят » d to our terrace. We heard the sea waves at night. The owner (Dimitry) was very nice and cooks very nice specific food for diner (best you ask during - The owner Demitri is hospitable and generous.The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The beach is only 30 metres away and is a white sandy, clean dream with clear deep blue water lapping onto the shore. The hotel has its own sunbeds for guests to use which was most appreciated. You need a taxi to get there but it is worth the 20 euros as it is far away from the masses and incredibly peaceful for somewhere so beautiful.
