  Our room was on the 5th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the Rhine, which was perfect for us to sit and watch the boats go by. The room was well equipped, very clean, with even a hospitality tray - rare outside the uk. There was also free WiFi which was a nice bonus. We were lucky finding a parking place right outside t - We liked everything about the Hotel, owner and his team. Even though the Rhine had flooded the front of the Hotel and gardens it did not stop the Owner and the staff from running it well even though they were keeping back the Rhine . I should also mention that the owner speaks perfect english and had an interesting conversation with him covering various subjects in depth.   We came off a boat trip up the Rhine and found the hotel an easy 15min walk to the hotel from the landing. We found the staff most helpful as we only speak English. They directed us to a great little German pub with very good food at an excellent price. The host was a hoot!! Yet the staff was very friendly and helpful despite being very busy and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The castle next door is gorgeous!

  I liked the comfort, cleanlines, the service we received at the Garni Hotel. We were collected from the Airport which was great and we were dropped back again in the morning. - I'm so impressed with the Friendly Master's hospitality.   My second stay in this hotel.The restaurant is modern, serving very good food.Location is quiet,easy to get to town by bus, or a taxi for only a few Euro .Personnel is very, very helpful and friendly.The rooms are heated,and in general very nice. - Location was good and easy access to the Autovon.

  The Hotel was well placed for our needs and the Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were welcoming, bright and well equipped, the bed was extremely comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. The breakfast was extremely delicious with a great variety of breads, meats cheeses and spreads as well as fresh fruit and yoghurts. The coffee was one of the best I've had. The hotel is close to shops and transport and has free wi-fi which we discovered wasn't included in many other hotels we stayed in. A great place to stay and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

  Excellent location opposite the K-D ferry quay and it is definitely worth paying extra for a room with a river view balcony. Good choice at breakfast. - The staff; they were able to direct us to parking and had a place we could store our bikes. Also the hotel is in the middle of everything in Cochem.
