  Our room was on the 5th floor with a tiny balcony overlooking the Rhine, which was perfect for us to sit and watch the boats go by. The room was well equipped, very clean, with even a hospitality tray - rare outside the uk. There was also free WiFi which was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and in a pleasant room.... wat mensen zeggen » One would not guess that the staff were still pumping water out of the cellar after the floods. We were lucky finding a parking place right outside t - We liked everything about the Hotel, owner and his team. Even though the Rhine had flooded the front of the Hotel and gardens it did not stop the Owner and the staff from running it well even though they were keeping back the Rhine . I should also mention that the owner speaks perfect english and had an interesting conversation with him covering various subjects in depth.   We came off a boat trip up the Rhine and found the hotel an easy 15min walk to the hotel from the landing. We found the staff most helpful as we only speak English. They directed us to a great little German pub with very good food at an excellent price. The host was a hoot!! Not our first choice. Yet the staff was very friendly and helpful despite being very busy and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The castle next door is gorgeous!

  I liked the comfort, cleanlines, the service we received at the Garni Hotel. We were collected from the Airport which was great and we were dropped back again in the morning. - I'm so impressed with the Friendly Master's hospitality.   The Hotel was well placed for our needs and the Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were welcoming, bright and well equipped, the bed was extremely comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. The breakfast was extremely delicious with a great variety of breads, meats cheeses and spreads as well as fresh fruit and yoghurts. The coffee was one of the best I've had. The hotel is close to shops and transport and has free wi-fi which we discovered wasn't included in many other hotels we stayed in. A great place to stay and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

  Apart from being a wonderful hotel, I would like to state that the staff were the most friendly, courteous, polite people I have met in a hotel in a long time. They couldn't do enough to help in any situation, directions, taxi's etc and they also wished us, as Irish soccer supporters the best of luck for the game !! - Service was too good.
