  One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The personel were extremely attentive, and practically predicted our wishes. The location is very good in the newly refurbished part of Dresden old town. The room was a delight, large high ceilings, modern contemporary design and a funky bathroom. The dining area was large, well designed and the breakfast was very good. I will stay there again if I return to Dresden. Staff were very professional.

There's a small shopping center just by the tram stop which has great food. There's a bakery with good coffee, and an excellent Vietnamese takeaway (or eat in.) I didn't have breakfast at the Weltcafe as I preferred to have a coffee and bun at the place mentioned above.

  We stayed in the hostel section of the hotel but the rooms were very clean and although a little small, much like a hotel room. The kitchen was big and very clean and so were the shared bathrooms. I think they were even cleaned overnight as they were nice again in the morning after everyone had been using them.
