As mentioned in a previous review, we wondered about the stairs problem but don't know what the fuss is about - we are both in our mid-60's and didn't find the stairs at all difficult. Anyway, the very helpful manager insisted with helping with luggage. There is plenty of public parking at very little cost immediately outside the hotel and the location is ideal for exploring the centre of Saumur on foot. We are a family of 4 and booked the quad room. It was fantastic, a separate room for the children with their own tv!! Large clean bathroom with shower and large balcony with an amazing view across the town to the castle in Saumur. We only had a stop over on our way South but still managed to spend most of our time in the pool!! Dinner & breakf

We stayed here last year on our way home from holiday and enjoyed it so much decided to come back,it did not disappoint, the staff are very friendly, the receptionist even recognized us from last year. We had a studio this year which was very roomy with a little kitchenette with fridge which was very handy, the food is beautifully cooked & presented. We will be coming back next year.

The staff were just so nice and genuinely welcoming and helpful. Even though check in wasn't until 2, they let me leave my heavy bag there so I could go off and see what I wanted to see - it was very very very appreciate! The room was comfortable and the WiFi worked perfectly! -
