  It was a lovely cabin on the river. The room was cosy and clean with a nice view of the river and easy access for a walk along the river. It's a perfect location and peaceful surroundings to stay in if you would like to visit beautiful Macon city which is a 5 minute drive away. The farm animals on the property were nice to see too.

  The reception clerk was particularly helpful and drew us a map of the restaurant we wished to go to.The situation of the hotel near the River Saone was excellent. The area was quiet at night and we felt safe walking back to the hotel at night. The house is traditional in a lovely setting. We had dinner one night and it was delightful with plenty of food and wine. We did not travel by car and the owners were happy to collect us from the train station. Great friendly service all round. Macon is a lovely town with a stunning waterfront. Only 1.5 hours by TGV from Paris!

  What a find! It was my 65th birthday retirement and we wanted somewhere to stay that would reflect the past 45 years in the wine trade. The hotel is family run with Mr le Chef and Mme., front of house and waiting. I have rarely had such a gastronomic experience in France even when being entertained by some of the finest wine suppliers of the cou... что говорят » ntry. The food was "Master Chef" standard both in appearance and multi contrasting flavours. Superb! The hotel has an extensive wine list which has be - A lovely hotel with wonderful freshly cooked food, excellent wine list with wines from the area and beyond, very friendly and helpful staff, and delightful rooms and facilities; all within a pleasing countryside setting. We will definitely visit again when in France.
