Huge space with adequate facilities. Owner very reactive to issues and
pleasant to deal with. Warm, stylish, trendy and in a good location for
walking to Louvre (20 mins). Also restaurants around the area are good
and not tourist prices. A number of grocery stores nearby (inc one next
door) which is handy. -

I loved the staff at this hotel. The front desk was very helpful. Especially a lady named Mili. The front desk in general guided us about train stations, restaurants and everything else that we needed. The location is spot on with the metro station right next door. We had a change of plan and extended the trip by two more days but they were sold out. Still they called up other hotels in vicinity and got us reservation. Even though the hotel was rather 'tired' it had everything I wanted - room service, a kettle in the room, bathrobe, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in in a hotel for a long time! The location is perfect. If you are young, you can walk everywhere. As a back up, two metro stations, Bonne Nouvelle and Strasbourg-Saint Denis are only steps away.
I was worried about the traffic noise at night, but on the third floor it was no problem.
