  We had a downstairs room which had a balcony overlooking the river (there is also a balcony upstairs). The room wasn't modern but it was comfortable, functional and clean. Wifi worked well.   We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. We will come again for s - Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

We had the 4 first floor rooms in the old house, wow, every room was full of vintage items and antiquities of all sorts, access to the garden too which would have been lovely if the weather had been kinder. The car park and security was the reason we picked this hotel and they were very security conscious. The location was perfect an... что говорят » d the town was amazing, recommend Mastal Restaurant which was recommended by staff here, useful map provided too. Try the Segway tour too! We wish we - The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend this hotel.
