  We had a downstairs room which had a balcony overlooking the river (there is also a balcony upstairs). The room wasn't modern but it was comfortable, functional and clean. Wifi worked well. Easy 3 minute walk to the old town centre. Parked out the front of the pension. - I have stayed at Teddy four times. I love this little pension filled with hi... what people say » story. Cesky Krumlov is a delightful place and Teddy is perfect to enjoy the rafters going by. The staff is kind and it always feels like home.

  We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. We will come again for s - Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

The buffet breakfast was very generous with the selection,staff was very nice and it's possible to park up to 3 cars in front of the pension, so it is convenient to have you car parked right on the spot as most places in Krumlov do not have parking and you have to walk to your hotel with your luggage.

We had the 4 first floor rooms in the old house, wow, every room was full of vintage items and antiquities of all sorts, access to the garden too which would have been lovely if the weather had been kinder. The car park and security was the reason we picked this hotel and they were very security conscious. We wish we - The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend this hotel.
