  Lovely pension in a good location for old town. It is possible to walk to the old town / castle in about 15 minutes. Friendly owners who are very helpful. English is spoken. Room is spacious, bathroom is nice, breakfast offers a wide selection of hot and cold food. The pension is on a large allotment with outdoor seating and a lovely garden. It is... что говорят » very quiet at night. If you are arriving by bus from Cesky Budejovice disembark at Spicak bus stop if you can as it is much closer than the main bus - Really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Daniela were wonderful. They helped us out with restaurant tips and events currently happening in town. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We plan to return with our son and will definitely stay again at Penzion Onyx.

  I've stayed at this property 2 previous times before starting in 2001. The location and type of "castle b & B" you can't beat it. It's right next to the great historic town brewery.   The staff were extremely friendly and this was the best thing about the hotel. They even collected us from the bus stop late at night when we arrived. Amazing! - Friendly and attentive staff, tasty breakfest, clean and warmly feeling room, great location in the centre, river view, privacy.
