  We have already decided that B&B is a great way to travel, so this was among those places where we had a great time. The whole house is huge and very decorated with authentic pieces. It is an old house with a lot of character and modern amenities. The Auberge is beautiful, clean, comfortable, all in a relaxing environment. The breakfast was delicious, everything was homemade by the owners. They also offer a 4 course dinner, we will definitively try it next time we stay there.

  We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.
