The one we were in had a new bathroom and the manager informed us that the bedrooms are being refurnished and updated as an ongoing project. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through. Whilst checking in to the motel the previous evening we enquired about taxis to the airport ... the manager of the motel very kindly offered to take us rather than calling a taxi...a great personal service... Pool was sparkling clean, gardens well maintained, easy access to the Gold Coast Highway & very close to beach - Unit was clean and comfortable, with two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and washing facilities. Ross at the motel was a great help to me due to my visiting circumstances, that is why I returned as I had stayed just over a month before to see family. The Tweed is a lovely area for shopping and water access.
