Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! This was my second time in the last few weeks staying at Golden Shores and like the first stay it did not disappoint. It's proximity to everything(beach, airport & some good restaurants) is excellent as well as spotless comfortable rooms. It is all that you need for a short, well priced stay.

The apartment was big and spacious - as I was travelling with young kids. We got an excellent room with a very good view of the ocean - my kids enjoyed the beach, pool and spa very much. Location was great as well as it was just minutes away from the airport and the beach - will definitely stay here next time.

It was a perfect to relax sitting out on our balcony looking over the pool and palms swaying.
Our one bedroom was perfect, very clean and everything if we wanted to cook a meal. The bed was nice and firm and the shower was very good.

We loved the location and the spaciousness of the penthouse perfect for my birthday party. Jayne Rob and Meg couldn't do enough and the little touches were some of the things that made our stay even better. I will be back and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Older building but apartment 15 had high quality fittings and was a real surprise inside. Great view and a decent balcony. If all apartments in the building are equiped and fitted out in the same manner then this is an ideal destination. Great value and attentive service from management. All in all, would stay there again.
