All personel, everyone was very helpful! Cozy decor. Hotel has beautiful exteriör.

Rooms were dark, ceiling lampr needed. Back mirror needed in bathroom.

Genuinely warm and friendly staff, beautiful, quaint furnishings, extremely comfortable bedding, well-appointed bathrooms - like being in a charming European hotel. Around the corner from unusual and good restaurants, a yoga studio, and of course, all that New York offers.

There wasn't much to dislike, but having to re-log into the Internet each time you closed your computer wasn't the best use of time.

The staff was so kind and helpful, allowing my niece to check in early since we were arriving at separate times. The design & furnishings are chic, spotless, and super-comfortable. We loved the all-new retro-style bathroom. Room was small, but we did not feel shortchanged in any way. Fantastic Greenwich Village location, with NYU, New School, Soho, & East Village all within short walking distance.

Pretty expensive, but taking into account the friendly & professional staff, great decor & cool vibe, I will definitely stay there again.

The dining room was very attractive and the breakfast food was excellent. Also liked the front lobby area.

Our room was very small;so was bathroom--no place to hang towels, and so was closet--not big enough to accommodate winter coats jackets.

The vast majority of the staff were very good and extremely helpful. Whilst the room was small it was comfortable with an excellent shower. Location was good for both uptown & downtown and there was plenty to do & see in the surrounding area

The restaurant was slightly disappointing with food & wine on offer

Brilliant and warm staff, superb location, very comfortable room. Really can't compliment the entire staff (reception, doormen, cleaning, etc.) enough on a PERFECT stay!

Restaurant really isn't up to snuff. Boring menu, distracted and impersonal staff. Sort of mismatched with such a perfect little hotel. That said, there are superb dining options in the neighborhood so not a big deal at all.

The location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was decorated nicely. The bed was comfortable. I liked that the window opened a little so you could get fresh air. The restaurant was beautiful.

The toilet was inches from the leg of the sink. When I asked about it they said it was a new concept. It was the running joke. You literally had to sit sideways. The food in the restaurant was good but not special.

Couldn't have asked for nicer staff. Arrived at 8am and our hotel room was ready (normal check in time is 3pm) the lovely Brian brought all our bags to our room. All the staff were so helpful & friendly. Food was delicious, could have been a little cheaper but when your in New York everywhere is expensive. We were so central to everything yet far enough away for a little peace & quiet. Hehe! Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

The food was slightly over priced & the bedrooms were small, but that's New York for ya!!

We loved the hotel. The decor was beautiful, the staff were great, the bar was fab and the location was perfect.

Our only complaint was that the room was on the small side. We both had large suitcases and it was a bit of a struggle fitting everything in.

Platform bed in a small room meant whacking ones shins a couple times, no door on shower so floor was damp when done with shower... but compared to the other comforts these were minor.

Location, friendly service, good vibe. Very attractive and welcoming lobby. Great restaurant….we only ate breakfast and some late night snacks. The flat bread with smoked salmon was delicious!

Although the room was delightful, it was too small… fine for me but not for my big husband. For a five night stay, there was not enough room in the closet or drawers and no place to sit except on the beds.

What a fantastic hotel. Great location in Greenwich Village. Awesome decor.Close to "hop on hop off bus". Very late booking and they accommodated us so well. Nothing was too much trouble. Great restaurant and bar. Gorgeous staff. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The food was quite good although expensive. The location is ideal - nice quiet neighborhood but close to subway stops and restaurants. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. Although small, the room was comfortable, clean, and nicely appointed.

The bartender was slow to take orders and unfriendly. Perhaps it was because I was alone and female? The service in the restaurant was generally slow. The half door in the shower did not contain the water effectively. There was no coffee in the lobby on the weekend days.

The design of the hotel is beautiful and the art deco ambiance is very relaxing. The beds were fantastic; really comfy with beautiful linens and pillows. Housekeeping would turn down your bed every evening and leave chocolates. Also the C.O. Bigelow bath products were lovely.

This is only a very minor point as the room was very clean and housekeeping staff was attentive. However, the high gloss finish on the furnishings makes it easy to see the fingerprints from previous guests and it would be good if these areas could be wiped down with a cloth before each new guest, especially the tv cabinet, desk drawers and phone.
