The Alexander is conveniently located for a nights stay as I was bringing my daughters belongings back from her university lodgings. The facilities are very good & I would highly recommend the Alexander. The breakfast is excellent & caters for every taste. The Alexander is the best place I have stayed in Swansea.

The welcome, the advice and the service were all excellent - extremely friendly, efficient and relaxed. I was attracted by the reasonableprice of the stay and the situation of the hotel was an added bonus - afive minute walk from the beach and well situated for local amenities,pubs and restaurants. The reception I received at the hotel was firstrate - Philip and Jeanette are experts at making guests welcome!

The staff, the manager Mick, his elderly father John and a young girl took good care of me staying there. They were all very kind and helpful whatever I wanted and had a good portion of humour and very friendly and easygoing. A good place to stay for a reasonable price. Would choose the same place if I go to Swansea again.

First time staying in Wales with the Mrs. Stayed here in Room 5 for 1
night, after reading poor reviews but having balls and going for it
anyway. The Mrs thought I'm too posh to stay in a b&b but its

I was delighted that the owner is a Welsh-speaker; that made my life
much simpler.
The bedroom was, shall we say, cozy, but this wasn't a problem for the one night we stayed.
Overall, I'd describe it as a comfortable place to stay. The owner and his manager could hardly have been friendlier or more accommodating but they were never intrusive.
The place was clean but homely and comfortable. No nasty odours but not reeking of cleaning products either.

Have stayed here several times as in our opinion it's the best guest house in Swansea. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable rooms with extra thoughtful touches. The owners are friendly and helpful but unobtrusive - it's like visiting friends! Good location for exploring the area, within walking distance of the marina and town. -
