  The Whipper-In was a pleasant surprise. The room was incredibly cosy and beautifully decorated with names given not numbers. Worthy of top chef awards. We thought all the staff paid attention to detail and worked hard to ensure you enjoyed your stay. I am a regular user of this hotel and like it so much I came back for their Christmas package in 2008; I must say that the staff are always friendly and make you feel at home.   The family room was an excellent size with a powerful shower and three full size beds. The staff were very friendly. It was in a lovely location a few miles from Oakham. We would definitely return. - Relaxed atmosphere and friendliness of staff, nice food, clean and comfortable bedroom, easy access to local main roads.
