  Unpretentious luxury. We chose a room with a patio as it could be used if it rained since it was beneath the balcony of the room above. It was large with plenty of storage space and comfy chairs & sofa. We requested and received sheets & blankets as we don’t get on with duvets. The lounge bar food was both - It is very difficult to find anything specific as everything was expected from seeing the reviews and pictures on the website, which totally do The Coniston justice. My partner is from Yorkshire and we visit regularly and the location was perfect. Just outside Skipton and on the outskirts of the stunning Dales National Park.   the whole experiance,the warm welcome from the staff made this the very best hotel visit ever made by us. The training of the staff and the ambience created are truly superb!!! - The number of facilities and the willingness of the staff to see to anyrequests for instance the porter brought me a video machine to play some videos I had with me.
